The focus of The Review of Regional Studies is based upon the founding vision of the Southern Regional Science Association; to foster the exchange of ideas and promote studies focusing on regional topics and issues and utilizing tools, methods, and the theoretical frameworks specifically designed for regional analysis as well as concepts, procedures, and analytical techniques of the various social and other sciences. The journal publishes contributions to the interdisciplinary field of regional science in which the spatial dimension plays a fundamental role. The REVIEW is indexed in EBSCO online, ECONLIT, RePEc, Cabell’s, and Google Scholar. The REVIEW is an OPEN ACCESS journal, with no fees for subscription, submission, or publication that is published online three times a year.

The Special Issue seeks to publish novel research and reflect the most recent advances on the latest contributions in the area of water and regional science, covering new modeling techniques and formulations, as well as innovative case studies.
